The festival takes place at various venues, cultural centers, and areas across Aarhus.
You can purchase single-day tickets as well as ‘All Days’-tickets for SPOT.
SPOT also includes a professional section with networking meetings, seminars, lectures, etc., under the title SPOT+. Separate tickets can be purchased for this part of the festival, but you can also buy a ticket that provides access to both SPOT's music program and the professional section at SPOT+.

Children under 12 have free admission if accompanied by an adult (over 18 years) ticket holder.
Accessibility Companions
By purchasing a regular ticket and presenting a valid companion card from Danske Handicaporganisationers Brugerservice, disabled individuals can bring a companion to the festival for free. Upon arrival at the festival, show the companion card at the regular ticket exchange, where the companion will receive a wristband corresponding to the purchased ticket—unless otherwise agreed in writing with SPOT Festival before the festival starts. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us at info@spotfestival.dk.
Ticket Refund Policy
Purchased tickets will only be refunded in case of the complete cancellation of the festival. Tickets will be refunded automatically by SPOT Festival's ticket operator, VenueManager.
Limited Capacity at Festival Stages
SPOT Festival is primarily an indoor event, utilizing Aarhus' many venues and cultural centers for concerts, etc. With capacities ranging from 50 to 3,000 people, the various venues have different audience capacities, and SPOT cannot guarantee access for all ticket buyers to all concerts. Arrive well before the start of each concert/talk, etc., to significantly increase the chance of entry. It is not possible to reserve seats for the concerts.
Special and Free Events
For certain special events related to SPOT, advance registration or the purchase of a specific extra ticket may be necessary. During the festival, there will also be open events with free admission, even for individuals without tickets. A festival ticket does not grant any special rights regarding access to the event in these cases. In the case of the above special access conditions, this will be clearly indicated in the individual program descriptions on the festival's website (spotfestival.dk).
Thursday and Sunday Events
The festival's main program takes place on Friday and Saturday (May 1st and 2nd, 2026), but on Thursday before the festival and Sunday after, there may be events and activities on the schedule, mainly organized by external organizers. Some of these events will typically have free admission, while others may require separate payment. For the latter, unless otherwise indicated in the description of the individual event on the festival's website (spotfestival.dk), a SPOT wristband will not provide free access.
